The Provenance and Sedimentary Environment of Lower Zhiluo Formation in Northeastern Ordos Basin

Abstract
Rock component,clastic composition was used to study the provenance of sediments in the northeastern Ordos basin.The compositions of sandstone and fragments of Zhiluo formation suggest that Langshan,Daqingshan and Wulashan mountains are the main provenance of Zhiluo formation and the provenance direction is stable with near a NS direction during the early Zhiluo stage.Study of core,field outcrops,sandstone grains,sedimentary faces shew that lower subdivision is braided river faces;upper subdivision is mainly meandering river faces,in some area is braided river faces.关键词
