Abstract
Objective To observe the safety hazards surrounding hospitalized elderly patients in endocrinology department, and to set up targeted prevention programs. Methods 120 elderly patients in our hospital were randomly stratified according to whether they received routine nursing (control group, with 60 patients) or they received comprehensive preventive nursing (experimental group, with 60 patients). The primary outcome was the analysis of the existing nursing hazards, the incidence of safety events and the satifaction level with nursing. Results Compared to the control group, the incidence of bedsores, falls, incorrect drug ingestion and adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower (P <0.05). And the satifaction level with nursing in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05). Conclusions During the implementation of clinical nursing, optimizing the quality of nursing services, improving the staffs' professional quality and responsibility is beneficial to effectively prevent and control the safety risks, as well as protect patients' life and quick recoverey. It is worth to apply clinically.关键词
