Abstract
Objective To explore the risk factors and prevention intervention for senile psychosis patients' tumble. Methods A retrospective analysis focusing on 36 senile psychosis patients' tumble incidences was carried out at our geriatrics department. Results We found that some risk factors, such as female, age, history of tumble, senile dementia, chronic diseases, unreasonable environmental facility and combined medication, were related to tumble. Nurses' weak safety consciousness, caregivers ' lack of responsibility and patients' unawareness were some of the main reasons for tumble. Conclusions Taking necessary measures will reduce risks of tumble, such as risk assessment for senile psychosis patients, adoption of relevant preventive measures, education and training for nurses, caregivers and patients.关键词
