Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of virtual touch quantification (VTQ) for liver tumors with liver cirrhosis. Methods VTQ was implemented in a total of 78 cases of liver solid nodules and surrounding hepatic tissues. All the lesions were pathologically confirmed, and the VTQ values of both benign and malignant nodules were compared. Results Pathological examination showed 37 lesions of hepatocellular carcinoma, 15 lesions of metastatic liver carcinoma and 26 lesions of focal nodular hyperplasia. The VTQ values of primary carcinoma, metastatic tumor and their background were significantly different (P<0.05);the VTQ values of primary carcinoma, metastatic tumor and focal nodularhyperplasia were significantly different (P <0.05), but focal nodular hyperplasia and its background had no significant difference (P >0.05). Conclusions VTQ is a useful technique for differentiating benign nodules from malignant liver tumors under the circumstance of liver cirrhosi.关键词
