Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between cardiac function and osteoporosis in patients with type 2 diabetes combined with coronary artery disease. Methods One hundred and forty-eight patients with type 2 diabetes combined with coronary artery disease were assigned to a lower bone mass density group and a normal bone mass density group according to the bone mineral density (BMD). Color Doppler examination was followed to evaluate the systolic function and diastolic function, serum Ca, serum P, serum Mg were measured. Results The systolic function and diastolic function were worse in the lower bone mass density group than those of the patients with type 2 diabetes combined with coronary artery diseasenormal in the bone mass density group (P <0.01), but the serum Ca, P, Mg were with no significant difference between both groups (P >0.05). Conclusions The cardiac function decreases with the loss of bone mineral density in patients with type 2 diabetes combined with coronary artery disease.关键词
