Influence of Rooming Individualized Care Guidance Before Discharged on the Growth and Development of Premature Infant

Abstract
Objective To study the influence of rooming individualized care guidance (RICG) before discharge on the growth and development of premature infants (PI). Methods 450 PI in our hospital from October 2012 to August 2013 were randomly divided into two groups, with 225 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing before discharge, while the observation group received RICG before discharge. The physical and neurobehavioral development situation were compared. Results The weight, height and head circumference at 40 weeks gestational age and 3 months old of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05);but after 6 months, there were no statistical differences between two groups. The scores of developmental quotient, gross motor, fine motor, cognition, speech and social interaction of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions RICG has promotion effect on the physical development and neurobehavioral development of PI, which is worthy of recommendation.关键词
