Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of acupoint sticking therapy for the treatment of patients with gynecological postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Methods 90 patients with abdominal surgery from June 2013 to January 2014 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 45 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine postoperative therapy including anti-inflammatory and nutrition support; while patients in the treatment group received acupoint sticking therapy additionally (Zhongwan point, Zusanli points and Neiguan points). The clinical effects were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 95.56%, significantly higher than 77.78% of control group (P<0.05). The average frequency of vomiting and average frequency of nausea of treatment group were fewer than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Acupoint sticking therapy can effectively improve the symptoms of postoperative nausea or vomiting. It not only has the effect of acupoint stimulation and adjustment, but also has pharmacodynamic effect, which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
