BDNF基因多态性与颞叶癫痫患者的关联研究
Study on the Correlation Between BDNF Gene Polymorphism and Patients with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between the polymorphism of the BDNF gene and temporal lobe epilepsy patients. Methods 40 patients in our hospital and the Guangdong 999 Brain Hospital were selected, and divided into a temporal lobe epilepsy group (with 20 cases in it) and an idiopathic epilepsy group (with 20 cases in it). Meanwhile, 40 healthy adults wererandomly selected in our medical examination center as the control group. We assgined these three groups to detect the distribution of their single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPS) of rs6265, the functional sites of the BDNF gene . Results The frequency of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPS) of rs6265 in the temporal lobe epilepsy group and the idiopathic epilepsy group were not sifnificantly different from that in the control group (P >0.05). Conclusions The polymorphism of BDNF gene may be not related to the susceptibility in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.关键词
