Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of strengthening nursing intervention in the perioperative period of diabetic patients with fracture. Methods 46 cases of type 2 diabetic patients with fracture were divided into two groups, with 23 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given perioperative routine care, while patients in the observation group were given strengthening nursing intervention during perioperative period. The fasting blood glucose level before operation, length of hospital stay, hospital costs and incidence of complications were compared between two groups. Results The fasting blood glucose level before operation, length of hospital stay, hospital costs and incidence of complications of observation group was significantly lower than those of control group (P <0.05). Conclusions For diabetic patients with fracture, strengthening nursing intervention during perioperative period has significant clinical effect. It can effectively control blood glucose level, shorten length of hospital stay, and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
