Abstract
Objective To investigate the methods and effects of health education of hypertensive patients in community outpatients clinic, so as to improve patients' compliance of prevention and treatment of hypertension. Methods 96 hypertensive patients in a community outpatients clinic of Guangzhou from November 2012 to November 2013 were selected to received targeted health education. Patients' satisfaction with the way of health education, and patients' awareness of hypertension knowledge before and after healthy education were compared. Results There were statistical differences in patients' awareness of hypertension knowledge between that before and after health education. Conclusions Health education in community outpatients clinic can improve hypertensive patients' awareness of hypertension knowledge, and the way of health education should be selected according to patients' circumstances and needs.关键词
