Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of marvelon combined with metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. Methods 102 cases of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group (treated with marvelon) and observation group (treated with marvelon combined with metformin), with 51 cases in each group. The clinical symptoms and serum test indicators before and after the treatment of two groups were compared. Results After three cycles treatment, the rare menstruation, acne and hirsutism rate of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), the luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone (T), luteinizing hormone/gonadotropin (LH/FSH), fasting insulin (FINS) and fasting blood-glucose (FG) of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusions The combination of marvelon and metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome has curative effect, which can effectively improve the patients' clinical symptoms and endocrine situation.关键词
