Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of CT virtual bronchoscopy in the diagnosis of complex and suspicious respiratory tract foreign body. Methods 702 cases of patients with suspected respiratory tract foreign body treated in our hospital from May 2012 to June 2013 were selected as research objects. All patients were implemented X-ray examination and virtual bronchoscopy, and eventually received rigid bronchoscopy to determine whether the bronchus had foreign body. The results of virtual bronchoscopy and X-ray examination were compared, and the effect of virtual bronchoscopy in the preoperative diagnosis of respiratory tract foreign body was evaluated. Results Of 702 patients, 628 cases of patients with respiratory tract foreign body were diagnosed by bronchoscopy, 601 cases of patients with respiratory tract foreign body were diagnosed by virtual bronchoscopy, the positive rate was 95.70%;556 cases of patients with respiratory tract foreign body were diagnosed by X-ray examination, the positive rate was 88.54%;the positive rate of virtual bronchoscopy was significantly higher than that of X-ray examination, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions For patients with complex and suspicious respiratory tract foreign body, CT virtual bronchoscopy has important application value in clinic.关键词
