Abstract
There are some defects such as poor surface quality,wall thickness offset,heavy weight,and small transverse impact value for piercing and drawing cylinders by billets.By three wheels rolling techni-cal analysis and rolling forming test for cylindrical tubes manufactured by piercing and drawing with 34CrMo4 cylinder steel and 34CrMo4-H high strength cylinder steel respectively,experimental research the effect of cold rolling on dimensions and inside and outside surface quality of blanks,and experimental research the effect of cold rolling on steel mechanical properties and metallography organization.The ex-perimental results show that the dimensions tolerance and inside and outside surface quality for cold roll-ing cylinders are better than the piercing and drawing cylinders,and the elongation adds about 0.5%and transverse impact value adds more than 10.5 J/cm2 ,banded structure is improved.关键词
