Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of application of 128-slice spiral CTCA (Computerized Tomography Coronary Angiography) in diagnosis of CHD (Coronary Heart Disease). Methods Forty cases of suspected CHD patients and 5 cases with a previously implanted coronary stent were selected and scanned by 128-slice spiral CTCA so as to compare its imaging results with conventional CAG (Coronary Angiography). Results With CAG as the gold standard, the sensitivity, speciifcity, PPV and NPV (Positive and Negative Predictive Value) of 128-slice spiral CTCA were 89.3%, 97%, 86.2%and 97.7% respectively in diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis. Conclusion The 128-slice spiral CTCA demonstrated its excellent clinical effectiveness in diagnosing coronary artery stenosis, revealing coronary atherosclerotic plaques and re-examining patients with a previously implanted coronary stent, which can be used as a noninvasive and safe screening method for people at high risk of developing CHD and also as a follow-up method for patients with a previously implanted coronary stent.关键词
