Abstract
Objective To discuss the inlfuence of arrhythmia on NIBP (Non-Invasive Blood Pressure) measurement of the patient monitor. Methods FLUKE ProSim8 Vital Signs Simulator was deployed to simulate NSR (Normal Sinus Rhythm) and ifve kinds of arrhythmia signals, including VT (Ventricular Tachycardia), SB (Sinus Bradycardia), PT (Paroxysmal Tachycardia), PVC (Premature Ventricular Contraction) and AT (Auricular Tachycardia). Meanwhile, 4 groups of NIBP measurement values were given under each kind of simulation signals:60/30, 120/80, 150/110, 200/150 (mmHg). And a total of 30 GE Pro1000 and Dash2500 patient monitors were selected to measure the given blood pressure and calculate the errors. Then, Loess (Locally-Weighted Scatterplot Smoothing) regression was adopted to ift the errors. Results The curves worked out by Loess regression highlighted that the curve line of VT-NSR was obviously higher than that of the normal group. Conclusion An extremely high heart rate might cause a higher NIBP measurement result of the patient monitor. However, a low heart rate caused no obvious inlfuence on the measurement result. Therefore, the patient monitors can not detect the NIBP accurately when a patient suffered from an extremely high heart rate.关键词
