Abstract
Objective To realize the sharing and effective use of medical equipment and medical information in the hospital so as to promote the work efficiency, save human resources and improve the level of medical service. Methods To make full coverage of wireless applications in the hospital, a wireless network was designed based on the GSM-WLAN (Global System for Mobile Communication-Wireless Local Area Network) integration system, which used the frequency-division multiplexing technology and made the GSM and WLAN signals transmitted in a same-signal-distributed network. Results With adoption of wireless access to the terminals, this easy-to-implement system had wide coverage and was convenient for maintenance and management, which could greatly improve the work efficiency. Conclusion Through cooperation with the operator, renting the GSM-WLAN integration system that was pre-deployed by the operator could reduce the costs of wireless network in the hospital.关键词
