摘要

Abstract

Ⅱ-ammonium polyphosphate (APP) particles were modified to form microcapsules through non-ionic surfactant P400DS (HLB=7) and A105 (HLB=6.5). After coating treatment, the water solubility of APP reduced by 10 times, which was almost insoluble in water and do not absorb moisture. The particle size changed a little, and the thickness of the membrane wal was less than 380 nm, the flame retardant expan⁃sion performance was improved by 47%. The organic compatibility of modified APP was also significantly in⁃creased, and the shortcomings of conventional APP, such as bad hygroscopic, poor compatibility and poor flame retardant durability were overcome.
