摘要

Abstract

New fluorinated acrylate copolymer emulsion was prepared using dodecafluoroheptyl methacry⁃late (Actyflon- G04), methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl acrylate (BA) as the monomers, fatty alcohol polyoxy⁃ethylene ether (AEO- 9) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as emulsifier, ammonium persulfate as initiator through semi- continuous seed emulsion polymerization method. The optimal synthesis process of new fluori⁃nated acrylate water repel ent was analyzed. The prepared copolymer was applied in cotton fabric. The results showed that the optimum synthesis conditions were 5∶3 of BA and MMA mass ratio, 30% of Actyflon- G04 (on the total mass of monomers), 2.5% of emulsifier (on the total mass of monomers), 0.9% of initiator (on the total mass of monomers), 80 ℃ of polymerization temperature, 3 h of holding time. And the synthetic co⁃polymers was applied in cotton fabric, the water contact angle of finished cotton fabric was up to 125.0° , the hydrostatic pressure was up to 145.8 mm. The prepared fluorinated acrylate emulsion had good water repel en⁃cy and little effect on the handle and air permeability of cotton fabric.
