Effects of weld shape on fracture path for both sides welded joint
摘要
Abstract
The model of tensile deformation for the welded joint of both sides submerged arc weld is constructed by FEM software ANSYS, and its availability is experimentally approved. Based on the model, the effects of the weld seam shape on the tensile fracture location are investigated. The three critical values of outside weld width are identified, suggesting an important influence on the welded joint fracture location. The results provide theoretical basis for optimizing the welding processes and improving the weld seam quality of high strength steel pipe.关键词
