摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the curative ef ect of limbal epithelial autografi and recurrent pterygium excision with mitomycin C in treatment of recurrent pteryghim. Methods A total of 78 patients (94 eyes)with recurrent pterygium were randomly divided into two groups:Group A 43 cases (52 eyes)was performed resection of pterygium plus mitomycin C;Group B 35 cases (42 eyes)Was performed autologous limbus stem celltransplantation after pteryguim excision.The curative ef ect Was evaluated according to criteria Prabhasawat advanced after average 15 months of postoperative fol ow-up including cure rate.Results The cure rate of pterygium in Group B(92.86%)Was higher than thai in Group A(78.84%),the dif erence between the two groups Was significant( P<0.05).Conclusion Autologous limbus stem celltransplantation conducing to reconstructing limbal barrier function is more ef ective in treatment of recurrent pterygium with high cure rate.Low recurrence rete and much improvement of astignatism.关键词
