Abstract
Objective To evaluate the level of total IgE (TigE) and Eosinophilic Cationic Protein (ECP) concentration in the plasma of patients with nasal polyp and to investigate the mechanisms of IgE-mediated type I al ergy in the onset,development,and recurrence of nasal polyps.Methods To detect the serum TigE and ECP expression levels in 43 cases of al ergic rhinitis(AR),80 cases of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), 80 cases of nasal polys(NP) and 60 cases of healthy volunteers.Results The TigE and ECP expression levels in patients with nasal polyp were higher than those in control groups( ﹤0.01) and in serum( ﹤0.01) .The serum TigE and ECP levels in patients with nasal polyp were not significantly dif erent from those in control groups ( ﹥0.05).Conclusion Nsal polyp is a disease characterized by eosinophile granulocyte infiltrating,and IgE-mediated type I al ergy may play a role in the formation of nasal polyp.关键词
