Abstract
Objective To observe the relationship between the expression of decorin and TGF-β1 mRNA in periurethral vaginal tissue in patients with stress urinary incontinence (SUI).Methods Transvaginal biopsies were obtained from the periurethral vaginal tissue in 35 SUI and 30 non SUI control postmenopausal women.RT-PCR were used to verify the mRNA level of decorin and TGF-β1.Results The expression of decorin was significantly higher and the expression of TGF-β1 was significantly lower in patients with SUI.The expression of decorin mRNA was highly and negatively related to the expression of TGF-β1 mRNA.Conclusion Our study results suggest that the decrease of TGF-β1 expression and increase of decorin expression,might reduce the quantity of col agen of periurethral vaginal tissue,and which involved in the pathogenesis of SUI.关键词
