Abstract
Objective To determine prevalence and influencing factors of HIV infection among participants in voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) in Zhuhai. Methods Information on the participants having asked for HIV testing at Zhuhai's VCT department during 2010 and 2013 was collected, and antibody test was carried out for those participants who needed for HIV antibody testing. To analyze the prevalence and influencing factors of HIV infection. Results The total number of accepting consulting and testing was 7690 in 4 years, and the total HIV positive rate was 1.46%. Multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that age (OR=1.055,P<0.05), people who were divorced (OR=2.926, <0.05), people who were lower education level(OR=1.730, <0.05), and man who have sex with man(OR=11.816, <0.05), are the main influencing factors for people who infecting HIV. Conclusion The HIV prevalence among VCT participants in Zhuhai was higher than the HIV prevalence level of State. VCT promotion should he strengthened among man who have sex with man, people who were get ing divorced and people who were lower education level.关键词
