Abstract
Objective Explore improved clinical ef icacy of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Methods 80 patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome coin toss method according to randomized into two groups,labeled as the control group,treatment group.Control group of 40 patients were treated with traditional surgery uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) treatment group of 40 patients using the modified UPPP therapy,treatment and complications were compared in patients.Results After treatment,sleepiness,snoring than before treatment have improved,but the improvement in the treatment group was more obvious differences between the two groups of patients before and after treatment was statistical y significant ( <0.05);postoperative complications occurred in patients in the control group was 22.5% of patients after treatment complication rate was 10.0% in the group,the dif erence was statistical y significant ( <0.05).Conclusion Modified uvulopalatopharyngoplasty treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is more precise,symptoms improved significantly,fewer complications,is safe and ef ective and is worthy of further promotion.关键词
