Abstract
Objective To explore the treatment effect of mild hypothermia treatment in cases of severe acute traumatic brain injuries (sTBI). Methods 60 cases were divided into 2 groups: mild hypothermia treatment group and control group. Mild hypothermia was applied to the cases of sTBI in hypothermia group. Conventional treatment was applied to the cases of sTBI in control group.The treatment effect was divided into three grades, such as good recovery(GR), neurological disability(ND) and death(D). Results In mild hypothermia group, there were 18 GR cases, 9 ND cases and 3 D cases, while in control group, there were 12 GR cases, 15 ND cases and 3 D cases. Conclusion Mild hypothermia treatment can improve the prognosis of sTBI.关键词
