Abstract
Objective To analysis the risk factors of coronary atherosclerotic lesion progression in patients with suspected coronary artery disease(CAD)who underwent two coronary computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA)scans.Methods A total of 409 patients were enrol ed in present study.They had undergone two CTCA scans after 6 months or more months between July 2009 and July 2013 in Af iliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical Col ege.By comparing clinical factors at baseline and fol ow-up of patients and twice CTCA findings,dif erences were analyzed between plaque progression group and non-progressive group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify risk factors of coronary atherosclerotic lesion progression.Results Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that progression of coronary atherosclerosis lesions cor elated positively with luminal stenosis between 40%~60%at baseline examination (OR=17.45,95%CI=1.65-176.35, <0.01),LDL-C at fol ow-up examination (OR=3.28,95%CI=1.93-5.35, <0.01).Conclusion The progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with CAD including the increasing of total plaque burden and obstructive lesions.LDL-C in patients with coronary artery disease should be control ed and prevention should be long-term emphasized and strengthened.关键词
