Abstract
Objective To explore and analyze the clinical ef ect of new type and special oral orthodontic retainer. Methods A retrospective our orthodontic division in June 2010 to June 2012 treatments complete clinical data of 60 cases. According to the application of orthodontic retainer divided into control group and observation group, control group given conventional Hawley retainer to keep the group gives transparent retainer to keep, observe two groups of patients after wearing dif erent retainer dental arch measurements at the same time to compare the changes of the ef ect of wear. Results The two kinds of orthodontic retainer on the top and bot om front teeth irregular index and dental arch significant dif erences ( < 0.05). Transparent retainer than traditional Hawley retainer compared with high aesthetic, more comfortable and does not af ect the pronunciation. Conclusion Dental arch measurements before and after use transparent retainer.关键词
