Abstract
Objective To evaluate the ef icacy of the intensity modulated radiotherapy for old patients of cervical stump cancer. Methods A retrospective study included 13 old patients from January 2012 to December 2013 with cervical stump cancer was performed. Al 13 cases were treated with intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and brachytherapy. The ef icacy and complications were analyzed after treatments. Results For al 13 patients, the decrease of SCC was (77.8±4.5)%, the ef ective rate was 83.3% (10/13) and only 4 patients suf ered grade Iacute rectum reaction. Conclusion The IMRT and braehytherapy for the old patients with cervical stump cancer may result in satisfactory ef ects and acceptable complications.关键词
