摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of the intravascular stenting for symptomatic carotid artery stenosis. Methods We treated 37 patients with symptomatic carotid artery stenosis by the carotid artery stenting during March 2010 and August 2014 .Results Stents were successful y implanted in patients. After surgery the blood flow velocity in carotid artery increased . Symptom and Signs of neurological deficit improved within a week after surgery . We did not find stent migration and ischemic stroke.Conclusion Endovascular stenting is safe and ef ective for the symptomatic carotid artery stenosis . Strict control of indications and skil ed operation can reduce the risk of surgery.关键词
