Abstract
Objective To compare the delivery outcomes between on-hands-and-knees and supine position. Methods A total of 240puerpera were assigned into experiment group (n=120 cases) and control group (n=120cases). The experiment lied on-hands-and-knees while the control group lied on back during labor. Time of labor process, volume of postpartum bleeding,Apgar score, and severity of perineum laceration were measured and compared. Results The experiment group showed shorter the second stage of labor, lighter perineum laceration, but lower amount of postpartum bleeding comparing with the control group ( <0.05). There was no significant dif erence in neonatal asphyxia ( >0.05). Conclusion On-hands-and-knees can help to shorten the second stage of labor, and decrease perineum laceration without inducing neonatal asphyxia, thus it’s worth for application in large scale.关键词
