Abstract
By applying power analysis in reading The Merchant of Venice, the present study analyzes the power subjects and ob-jects, power resources, and the final power pattern temporarily formed by the conflicts between the two parties, and reveals that behind the superficial conflicts triggered by money and love, the core of the confliction in the play is the two social groups' strug-gling for the political power.关键词
