Abstract
It is a focus of Saul Bellow’s writing to pursue the meaningfulness of life. This paper aims to explicate the life con-sciousness in Ravelstein by analyzing Bellow’s representation of Ravelstein, the major character and Chick, the narrator. As the last novel written by Bellow in his 80’s, Ravelstein also presents Bellow’s meaningful existence.关键词
