Treatment of Benign and Malignant Stenosis in Trachea with High-frequency Electrocautery via Bronchoscope

Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effects and safety of high-frequency electrocautery via bron-choscope in the treatment of neoplasm obstruction in trachea and main bronchus under general anesthesia and larynge-al mask airway. Methods Thirty-two patients with dyspnea caused by benign and malignant stenosis in trachea as well as main bronchus were collected. High-frequency electrocautery via bronchoscope was used under general anes-thesia through propofol,fentanyl and vecuronium in the protection of laryngeal mask airway. Results Dyspnea was re-lieved obviously after the treatment of high-frequency electrocautery via bronchoscope in all 32 patients. FEV1 was (1.62±0.24)Land(2.48±0.46)L(P﹤0.01),airwaydiameterwas(3.15±1.41)mmand(8.12±1.20)mm (P﹤0. 01),dyspnea index was(1. 95 ± 0. 69)and(0. 73 ± 0. 34)(P﹤0. 01)before and after treatment. Conclusion High-frequency electrocautery via bronchoscope under general anesthesia and laryngeal mask airway can relieve neo-plasm obstruction and dyspnea obviously,which is safe and feasible.关键词
