Abstract
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of frontotemporal combined with infratemporal surgical ap-proach for dumbbell-shaped trigeminal neurinoma schwannoma. Methods Clinical data of 15 patients with dumbbell-shaped trigeminal neurinoma schwannoma undergoing craniotomy from 2010 to 2014 were analyzed in this study. Results 11 patients underwent total resection and 4 patients underwent subtotal resection with no serious postopera-tive complications. Conclusion Frontotemporal combined with infratemporal surgical approach is good for total resec-tion,which can protect brain tissue to a greater degree.关键词
