Targeting Effects of Artemisinin Combined with Holo - transferrin on MT40 Cells in Breast Cancer

Abstract
Objective To explore the targeting effects of artemisinin combined with holo - transferrin on MT40 cells. Methods MTT assay were undertaken to detect the inhibiting effect of MT40 cells exposed to artemisinin only and artemisinin combined with holo - transferrin in different concentration. FCM was used to detect the apoptosis of MT40 cells exposed to artemisinin only and artemisinin combined with holo - transferrin in different concentration. In-hibiting effect of artemisinin in mice transplanted MT40 was also detected. Results Artemisinin had the ability to in-hibite proliferation and induce apoptosis of MT40 cells in different concentration in a dose - dependent manner. The role had been enhanced obviously when artemisinin combined with holo - transferrin. Artemisinin could restrain mice transplanted MT40 in vivo. Conclusion Artemisinin can inhibite proliferation and induce apoptosis of MT40 cells and restrain mice transplanted MT40. The role can be enhanced obviously when artemisinin combined with holo - transfer-rin,which can prove the target role of artemisinin combined with holo - transferrin to MT40 cells in breast cancer.关键词
