牛至精油对荷斯坦奶牛乳房炎和腹泻发病率的影响
Effect of Oregano Essential Oil on the Mastitis and Diarrhea of Holstein Cows
摘要
Abstract
Mastitis and diarrhea,which seriously impact on the health of cows and the economic benefits of dairy industry,are two common diseases in cow farming. Oregano essential oil,which has a powerful bactericidal and antibacterial effect,is a kind of ex-tract of essential oil from natural plants. This experiment was aimed at studying the effect of oregano essential oil on mastitis and diarrhea of Holstein cows by adding oregano essential oil into total mixed ration(TMR). The study found that the incidence of sin-gle udder region mastitis and diarrhea of the cows with TMR added with oregano essential oil decreased by 2% and 10% respec-tively,compared with cows with TMR only. Therefore,TMR containing oregano essential oil can effectively reduce the morbidity of mastitis and diarrhea of Holstein cows,and improve the health.关键词
