摘要

Abstract

The relay protection devices that based on the current principle are the most widely used in power system. For bus protection, substation-area protection and wide area protection, it is easy to cause protection false-operation or fail-operation when current measurement circuit is abnormal. The operations can result in regional blackout, which is the high-risk incident that power system should be vigorously prevented. Online monitoring measures are necessary to be taken to detect the own integrity of current measurement circuit to ensure correct operation of such protection. So this paper defined the current measurement circuit generalized ratio, and proposed a new way to monitor the fault or abnormity of current measurement circuit though the online identification of generalized ratio. The method established an identification matrix of generalized ratio according to Kirchhoff Current Law, and solved the generalized ratio by the singular value decomposition. Compared generalized ratio with standard ratio can timely discover the abnormity of current measurement circuit. Simulation analysis demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
