Small Signal Stability Analysis of VSC-HVSC Applied to Passive Network

Abstract
Small signal stability analysis of VSC-HVSC applied to passive network, which is the prerequisite for design and construction, is discussed in this paper. By choosingd-q synchronous reference frame flexibly, the Linear equations of each part are modeled. And based on the state space method, the small signal model of whole system is established. Then the model was validated by comparing Electromagnetic transient simulation and the small-signal model simulation. Modal analysis is performed to identify the small signal stability of VSC-HVDC. And sensitivity analysis is used to find out the crux of instability. Finally, the case study and simulation show that the analytical method has good accuracy.关键词
