Numerical Study of Gas-solids Flow Characteristics in a 1000MW Supercritical CFB Boiler Octagonal Furnace

Abstract
Numerical simulation of the gas-solid flow of a 1000MW supercritical circulating fluidized bed(CFB) octagonal furnace based on the two-phase model and Gidaspow drag model was carried out. The simulation was simplified by using rotationally symmetric periodic boundary conditions coupling method. The results indicate the following points: The axial solid concentration profile along the furnace height shows an approximate type S curve; Solid particles highly accumulate in the corner of dense phase zone while they distribute uniformly in the dilute phase zone; Solid concentration among suspended panels is slightly higher than that in the furnace; Lager solid differential concentration is found between two sides of suspended panel when it is close to furnace exit, which could be 50% of the section average value; Solid flow distribution of three cyclones is non-uniform, which in the center is smaller than that of the other two in the same side of the furnace. The maximum instantaneous deviation could be 7.0%~9.5%.关键词
