Multi-dimensional Optimal Vector Control of Multi-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

Abstract
In order to realize the optimal harm- onic control of multi-phase permanent magnet synchro- nous motors, this paper established a mathematical model of salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous motors with double Y-connected phase-shift 30° windings. And voltage and current limitations ware derived according to the output capacity of inverters. On this basis, the optimal current trajectory in full speed range is gained. And the four-interval current planning is proposed. It provides a theoretical basis for research on the multi-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor control strategy. Besides, this paper proposed an approximate multi-dimensional vector control method of salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous motors with double Y-connected phase-shift 30° windings in full speed range. And it can be applied for some situations in which harmonic control is needed. Experiment results verified its feasibility.关键词
