Abstract
In order to understand the immune antibody levels of porcine circovirus-2 (PCV2) in pig farms sur-rounding Shihezi,Xinjiang and make reasonable and effective immunization programs,726 serum samples were col-lected from 13 farms and tested for antibody using indirect ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit. The results showed that the overall positive rate in pigs was 98.08%and the antibody levels of all the farms were more than 80%;the farms with 100%antibody level accounted for 61.54%of all farms. The overall antibody levels in boars, sows,fattening pigs,piglets were all over 95%;the fattening pigs had the lowest antibody level of only 95.15%.The results were useful to understand the immune antibody level of porcine circovirus in Shihezi region and to provide refer-ences in working out reasonable control measures and immunization programs.关键词
