Abstract
To compare and evaluate the efficacy of the four real time RT- PCR diagnostic kits for H7 avian inlfuenza virus. [Methods]The H7 subtype antigen and 145 cloacal swabs of poultry with known results were detected by the four kits(the WHO recommended kit,Kit A,Kit B and Kit C) and their results were statistically analyzed.[Result] The WHO recommended method and Kit A had the highest sensitivity in detection of H7 virus with the dilution of 1:10-7. The virus could be detected at the antigen concentration above 1:10-4 and 1:10-3 by Kit B and Kit C respectively. The virus could not be detected when the antigen dilution was 1:10-6 and 1:10-7 using Kit C showing the lowest sensitivity. However,all the four kits showed good specificity and repeatability. [Conclusion] Different kits for H7 subtype avian inlfuenza virus had different performance of sensitivity. The overall performance of the WHO method and Kit A was better than the other two kits in screening and clinical surveillance.关键词
