摘要
Abstract
The tail profile of underwater towed body is one of the most significant characteristics that deter-mine its hydrodynamics performance; a decent tail profile could reduce the drag coefficient of the towed body, improving the towing speed, and reducing the towing-cable tension. This paper chooses an underwa-ter towed body with cruciform stern as the research object and applies the analysis of fluid field for the tail, where the pressure coefficient Cp distribution and the resistance along the length of the towed body are giv-en based on k-εmodel. From several aspects, the horseshoe vortex and the development process on the up-stream of handover for the underwater towed body and its tail are presented. The experimental results indi-cates that the proposed methods is reliable and can be used to the profile optimization design of other un-derwater towed bodies.关键词
