摘要

Abstract

The recent research and development progress in electromagnetic heating crack arrest and weld strengthening were summarized from theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experi-mental research.By a pulse current generator (model ZL-2)for components,the welded joints with crack were discharged by electromagnetic heating.The test results show pulse discharge can curb the rapid expansion of welding cracks,repair the internal cracks of weld j oints and raise the mechanical bearing properties of weld joints.Finally the future prospect of its engineering applications in the welding field were reviewed herein.
