短种植体在骨量不足后牙区种植修复的临床观察
Clinical observation of short implants for restoration in severely resorbed posterior regions

Abstract
Objective: The aim of this clinical research was to evaluate the 5-year clinical performance of BICON short implants in the atrophic maxilla and mandible posterior region. Methods: A total of 54 BICON short implants were placed in 43 patients with 3~9 mm of bone height in the posterior region. 54 BICON short implants including length of 5.7 mm 3 implants, length of 6 mm 30 implants and length of 8 mm 21 implants. CHA granules were packed around the implants when sinus bone lifting and guided bone regenerating. After healing period of 3 to 6 months, second stage surgery was carried out. Two to four weeks later, implants were given integrated abutment crowns. The clinical and X-ray examinations were undertaken each year after placement. Results:One implant was displaced into max-illary sinus when the first stage surgery was undertaking. One implant was loosed at the second stage surgery. Following-up 36~60 months, the rest 52 implants were clinically osseointegrated and finished fixed implant-supported prosthesis. X-ray examination showed all implants were surrounded with hard tissues and the marginal bone around the implants were stable. The success rate was 96.3%. The mean crown-implant ratios were calculated(1.38 ± 0.32). The mean peri-implant bone resorption values were measured (0.54 ± 0.47mm). Conclusion: BICON short implants can be recommended in the atrophic maxilla and mandible posterior region. However, short implant should be considered in the maxillary posterior region with 3mm or less of bone height.关键词
