Clinical study of 5 -FU/LV and L -OHP chemotherapy regimen for advanced colorectal cancer

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of two adju-vant chemotherapy regimens of 5-FU/LV and FOLFOX4 in patients with advanced colorectal cancer.Methods Ninety-nine patients with ad-vanced colorectal cancer were analyzed retrospectively.Of the 99 includ-ed patients , 45 were given the regimen of 5 FU/LV chemotherapy and other 54 subjects were given FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen.The clini-cal efficacy and adverse drug reactions in two groups were recorded and compared.Results The objective response rate ( ORR ) of FOLFOX4 group ( 50.0%) was much higher than 5 -FU/LV group ( 28.9%).The main adverse drug reactions were granulopenia and gastrointestinal reactions in the two groups , but there was no significant statistical differ-ence ( P>0.05 ).Conclusion Compared with advanced 5 -FU/LV chemotherapy regimen , FOLFOX4 therapy is more effective for patients with colorectal cancer , with similar incidence of adverse drug reactions.关键词
