Abstract
Objective To study the curative effect of carvedilol com-bined with telmisartan on refractory hypertension and its influence on glu -cose and lipid metabolism.Methods One hundred and thirty patients with refractory hypertension were enrolled and given carvedilol combined with telmisartan treatment.Blood pressure, glucose and lipid metabolism were detected one day before treatment and 28 days after treatment. Results After treatment, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pres-sure, the levels of 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2 h PG), fasting insu-lin(F Ins), 2 h postprandial insulin (2 h Ins), insulin resistance index (HOMA -IR)were lower than those before treatment; fasting blood glu-cose(FBG) and cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG), low densith lipopro-tein( LDL), high densith lipoprotein ( HDL), apolipoprotein A -Ⅰ(ApoA -Ⅰ), apolipoprotein B(ApoB) content had no significant differ-ence compared with those before treatment .Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were positively correlated with the levels of 2 h PG, F Ins, 2 h Ins and HOMA -IR.Conclusion Carvedilol combined with telmisartan have positive value for the treatment of refractory hyper -tension,as it can reduce the level of blood pressure , and improve blood glucose and insulin resistance.关键词
