摘要
Abstract
Lycopene is a natural carotenoid mainly found in fresh vegeta -bles and fruits, among which tomatoes or tomato products possess the highest concentrations.However, currently the mechanism of the action for lycopene treating prostate cancer has not been completely elucidated and animal studies as well as large -scale randomized clinical trials re-main limited.Therefore, the efficacy of its prevention and treatment of prostate cancer still lacks clinical evidence.This article reviewed the bio-logical characteristics of lycopene , the mechanisms of its anti -prostate cancer and utilization progress.关键词
