Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of maslinic acid on glu-cocorticoid -induced osteoporosis in rats. Methods Animal experi-ments were performed to analyze the effect of maslinic acid on the osteo-porosis.All the rats were randomly separated into six groups: normal group, model group, control group and three doses test groups (maslinic acid,100,50,25 mg・ kg-1・ d-1 ) .The effect of maslinic acid on the administration of osteoporosis was evaluated through detecting the relevant biochemical markers including calcium, phosphorus, osteocalcin and tar-trate-resistant acid phosphatase ( TRAP) activities by reagent Kits.The bone density was evaluated by using dual energy X ray absorptionmetry. Results Compared with model group, the maslinic acid has the effect on osteoporosis through adjusting the absorption and excretion of calcium. The bone loss and damage of the tibia and the femur of rats in maslinic acid groups can be significantly ameliorated and the ability to resist the fracture was improved effectively.Conclusion The maslinic acid can ameliorate the cancellous variation in glucocorticoid induced osteoporosis in rats.关键词
