Abstract
Objective:To explore the risk factors related to diabetic retinopathy (DR) in type 2 diabetic mellitus patients . Methods :From October 2012 to August 2013 ,253 patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus were examined by fundoscopy .Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the related risk factors to DR .Results:There were 77 patients (30 .43% ) with DR in 253 DM patients .The differences of age ,diabetic duration ,systolic blood pressure (SBP) ,urine microalbumin (U-MA) ,and the ratio of U-MA to urine creatinine (UCr ) were statistically significant between DR group and non-DR group (P<0 .05) . Logistic regression analysis showed that diabetic duration was an independent risk factor related to DR (OR= 1 .191 , P<0 .005) .There were 65 patients with non-proliferative DR and 12 patients with proliferative DR .The above groups had statisti-cally different total cholesterol (TC) ,U-MA and U-MA/UCr (P<0 .05) .Conclusions :DR is correlated to age ,diabetic dura-tion ,SBP ,U-MA and U-MA/UCr ,in which diabetic duration is an independent risk factor related to DR .关键词
